FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS - The Pumpkin Patch
WHAT KIND OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept cash, a good check, and credit or debit cards using Square.
DO YOU CHARGE ADMISSION?
Nope! You are welcome to come to the farm without charge. However, to keep admission free, we have to sell lots of pumpkins! So give in to your inner child and go a little overboard out in the patch!
DO YOU HAVE WAGONS THAT PEOPLE CAN USE WHILE VISITING THE FARM?
Yes! We have wagons that will help you bring in your selection of pumpkins, gourds and squash. However, on a busy day they may all be in the patch. Our wagons are not designed for carrying children. We strongly recommend not using them to carry children. You assume all risk and responsibility for the safety of your child if you choose to allow them to ride in the wagon. You are welcome to bring your own wagon or stroller for the kids.
ARE YOU OPEN DURING THE WEEK?
Just Fridays and on weekends. We apologize if that is an inconvenience for you but its one of the things we do to try and make sure that we run the patch and it does not end up running us.
DO YOU HAVE ACTIVITIES FOR THE KIDS?
Yes! We are a working farm, with pigs, chickens and our family dairy cows and their calves. You are welcome to go into the barn and meet them for yourself. And say hello to our kittens while you're in there! We also pride ourselves on creating an exploration into our Pumpkin Patch, complete with a Milo Maze, a rainbow field of cut flowers, U-Pick Indian Corn, our Giant Bench, and the Lookout Tower in the middle of the patch. We also have a 24 foot corn box and a hay bale pile with slides for many rounds of fun for you kiddos...ALL FREE! Come and see for yourself. To the best of our knowledge, no child has left disappointed.
DO YOU HAVE FOOD FOR SALE?
We have a concession stand with snacks and sandwiches from our farm: Our Own Berkshire Brats $7, Pork Chop Sandwich $6, Pork Burger Sandwich $5, Kids Meal $10 (Porky Burger, Applesauce, Apple Cider Sipper), Kettle Corn $5, Sliced Caramel Apples $6, Apple Cider Slushies $3-5, Kids Apple Cider Sipper $5, Bottled Water $1
ARE YOU OPEN ON RAINY DAYS?
We will plan to be open as long as the conditions in the patch allow. Please call to be sure or check our Facebook page for up-to-date weather info. We can not allow you to be out in the patch during lightning.
DO YOU HAVE RESTROOMS?
We have handicapped accessible port-a-johns on site for your convenience.
IS THE FARM WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
We have closer parking for those in a wheelchair or who have trouble getting around. We also have a handicap port-a-john located near the parking lot.

The pumpkin patch has been tilled before planting and is covered in vines and the path is uneven and bumpy. It is not well suited for the unsteady walker. If you have trouble, feel free to buy from the great selection in our pumpkins, gourds and squash already picked.
DO YOU OFFER HAY RIDES OR TRAMS TO THE FIELD?
Yes! Beginning this year, we are offering a one-way tram ride for $4 per person: either to the back of the pumpkin patch (including a lift for your wagon), or back from the patch. We'll even haul in your wagon load of pumpkins for you!
DO YOU OFFER FIELD TRIPS?
We are excited to welcome school classes and groups to come to our farm for. a self-guided field trip on Fridays beginning at 10:00am, and any time during our normal business hours.
